Description

Project Title: Biodegradable Lubricants for Sensitive Environmental Zones

Client: A construction company working on a bridge project over a protected wetland area.

Description: Environmental regulations mandated the use of environmentally acceptable lubricants (EALs) in all equipment where a leak or spill could potentially impact the wetland ecosystem. This included hydraulic systems for excavators, pile drivers, and cranes. NALUP provided a full suite of readily biodegradable (OECD 301), non-toxic, and non-bioaccumulating hydraulic fluids and greases that met the required performance specifications (ISO 15380) for high-pressure systems.

Outcome: The project maintained full environmental compliance, significantly reducing the ecological risk of a lubricant spill and protecting the sensitive wetland habitat, all without sacrificing the performance or reliability of the heavy machinery.

Great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness no one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasureconsequences that are extremely painful. Mattew Stocks - Project Manager
